Ethan E. Flores grew up in San Bernardino, currently resides in San Bernardino (Ward 1) and continues his college education in San Bernardino. While working in Downtown San Bernardino for several years in a customer service-focused role, Ethan had the unique opportunity to listen on a daily basis to San Bernardino residents and small business owners on the issues that they faced.

Never one to shy away from a tough conversation, Ethan listened intently but felt powerless to help. After joining the People of San Bernardino, door-knocking in Ward 1, joining several organizations doing transformative work and listening to hundreds of voices in the city, Ethan decided it was time to take action.

Ethan is no stranger to the struggles of taking the bus, being behind on rent payments, or having to make a choice between going to sleep hungry or stay up studying for an upcoming exam. Because of his experiences and connection to the community, he wants to build a community where the average individual doesn’t have to face these same challenges. Ethan wants to take an active approach to leading the community while amplifying the voices of his future constituents.
