How to Request a Bulky Item Pick-Up in San Bernardino (And other useful trash services)

Check Your Eligibility
- San Bernardino residents get two free bulky-item pick-ups per year, with up to 5 items per pick-up, free of charge.
What Counts as a Bulky Item
- Furniture, mattresses, appliances, TVs, computer monitors, scrap metal, wood, tree branches, and up to 2 tires per service.
Schedule Your Pick-Up
- Call Burrtec Customer Service at (909) 804‑4222 at least one week before your regular trash day.
- Provide your address and list of items.
- Burrtec confirms your pick-up date.
- Ensure items are placed at the curb by 6 a.m. on the appointment day.

Beyond bulky pick-ups, Burrtec also provides:

Residential Services: weekly trash, recycling, green-waste, and Christmas-tree collection.
Electronic Waste Collection (E-waste): call Burrtec to schedule pick-up.
Frail/Handicap Pull-Out: assistance for eligible residents.
Commercial & Multifamily Services: from organics recycling to roll-off dumpsters.

Place items curbside by 6 a.m. on your appointment day.
Excluded items: construction debris, dirt, rocks, hazardous waste (e.g. paints, chemicals).
